LM2 vs Mundella I (A)
It’s hard fought win tonight for LM2 beat Mundella I with 6 - 3 away win. An away game with plastics, is an excellent result for the LM2 team. It’s a fantastic efforts from all pairs. Keep it up team.* Firstly, thanks for Brad stepping in tonight with Dave played as the third pair is the only change tonight. No changes with the first pair Alex & Dan who performed with excellence in the last match and the second pair Sam & Kiranam. The courts are well lit and The team talk before entering the court !! It’s plastics guys, we have to play hard. Alex & Dan started with their first pair with no issues. Their first pair is a decent pair with their smashes, drops and placements. Alex & Dan are too good with their smashes & unexpected returns from the net and comfortably won the first game to 17 & 16. And then there were close games went to 3 games with their second and third pair are a little cat-and-mouse story. The last game with their second pair is interesting, had everything in it and a smash from Alex returned to the net, has been picked by Dan with a cross blade destroyed them to 9. It’s a brilliant pair, who again won all their 3 games. Well done Alex & Dan. Keep up guys. Sam & Kiranam started with their second pair with a slow & steady motive have won comfortably on their second pair. Sam had put them all over the court to the tram lines and to the net shots teared them in the second game. Their third pair is decent with a pretty good net returns, which tested Sam & Kiranam in the first game, but the calmness brought us a win with 24 points. Playing the advantage they couldn’t reach 13 points in the second game. Interestingly Sam & Kiranam won on their first pair comfortably to 15, almost getting the win but the game tactics have put us on Side lines loosing to 11 in the next two games. Well done Sam again, for bringing in that basic play of clear and drop shots today mostly brought us the two games. Brad stepping up with Dave with their third pair again is a comfortable win to 14 & 19. Bard has his perfect smashing had put the opponent in trouble. No need to say, Dave is all over the court 😀 again to put the shuttle back in the court. Brad & Dave had fought tough with their first pair winning their first game to 18, but have unfortunately lost the next two games to 10 & 11. Brad & Dave’s last games with their second pair are close and hard fought losses 22 - 20 & 21 - 18, which definitely proves they have put everything they have to get the win. Well done Brad & Dave for those good fighting games. Finally, thanks to Sam for driving us there and for the star performance again from the star pair Alex & Dan. They are turning up to be a challenging pair for the opponents.
