Hitesh was putting out a flare for a 4th player. Phil answered the call after confirming that he wasn't going to get an ear bashing from the Rugby league! Pairs were Phil/ Dave, Adib/ Paul. Daves wife had popped along as the cheer squad, I'm sure I heard at one point her telling me to say to Dave he's moving like a 'sack of potatoes' if he's not moving and dont forget to talk about his new shoesđ.
All started out well, some pressure from the captain as the last win was 6-0 and pairings had some to no time playing togetherđ. Phil and Dave had a steady start taking their firsts in two, with one to 7. Adib and Paul secured 1st's the two with a consistent 16/18 result. Paul had a brief moment turning a white colour, but a quick power apple juice and he was back in the zone!đȘ.
On to the seconds, P/D had a rocky mid way giving away a healthy lead but taking it at 18. The second game was wrapped up in 10 after a quick chat. A/P wrapped it nicely with an 8/12 win. The split saw Phil/ Adib Paul/Dave playing, with the opposition captain asking to change up his team going into the splitđ€Ł. Er no, rules is rulesđ§đ.
They split for strength and wanted to change to an even spread. Both pairs took them in two. P/A took the first in 12, the second had let a few easy errors in but nevertheless took it at 19. P/D had a nice easy ride wrapping up in two with a comfortable 5/9 respectively. 6-0 to Trinity, I believe secures the win for Hitesh and team with one to play.
