Match Report 27th February 2019 RM1 Vs St Phillips 1 (H)
It was the return fixture against the best in the league. Arguably, we would have struggled if we had put our top 4 out tonight as the opposition had returned with a stronger team đł
During match prep Martin was drinking his power juice whilst watching St Phillips warm up... Steve and Darren suddenly took a step back as Martin suddenly projectile vomited energy juice on the side lines đ€źâ Calm down Martin, we havenât kicked off yet...â
There were some close games, but neither Mart or Steve, Sam C or Darren could take a game. All rubbers were won in 2
Some very enjoyable games had by all, including a very sportsmanâs like call by the opposition on a match point. One on the oppositions shots had hit the frame of the racket during a tight game with Steve and Martin poised at 20-18. They ruled the shot out as they âdidnât want to win like thatâ Martin and Steve saw a life line and pulled the game level to 20-20! Unfortunately the opposition had that little bit more than us and pulled out the win to 22.
Very enjoyable 2 games against a friendly team boasting premier players.

March Report 25th February 2019 LX1 vs Longslade Stoneygate II (A)
Unfortunately we got smashed 8-1 đŹđŹ Was a tough night with a couple of team changes with Kwai and Annabelle stepping up đȘ Longslade are top of the league and were just better all round... Rematch at home in a couple of weeks - got my sights set on a tight 5-4 victory đ
