Match Report : It was a tough match Wednesday. There were a few last minute changes, so thanks to Ben & Euan for stepping in. The pairs were Ben/Tracey & Euan/Tabs. B/T went for consistency, winning 21 - 19 on both games against the 1st pair.
The 1st game again the 2nd pair also finished 21 - 19, then we eventually broke with tradition to win 24 - 22 in the 2nd game. E/T had a tougher time, losing to 7 & 8 against the 1st pair and 8 & 10 against the 2nd pair. It was 2 - 2 point into the split. Hopes were with Ben / Tabs as Euan & Tracey we’re both nursing injuries. Unfortunately, they couldn’t get the win, losing to 17 & 15. Final score 4 - 2 to Lutterworth

First match of the season against a newly formed team from Hunters.
We started well, having compared scores after the 1st set, a win for Neil & Tracey and also for Dave & Ruth. Unfortunately D & R couldn’t follow up their win to take the game.
We went into the split at 2 games each. Neither pair could quite manage to take the games on the split. N & R losing to 19 & 15. D & T losing to 16 & 15. Final result 4 v 2 loss. Tough but enjoyable games 😁
